We are happy to announce that we now have two KingAir B200 turbo-prop aircraft based in Brisbane, due to the increasing demand from the mining sector. These aircraft have just been through a full interior refit for our customers comfort and present like new. FIRE SEASON 2011-2012

It is that time of year again and we now have two dedicated KingAir B200 aircraft fitted with pressurized camera hatches for the Department of Sustainability & Environment's specialized scanning equipment. The aircraft are housed at our Melbourne head quarters on 24/7 standby, should a fire or multiple fires break out some where in the state. It's nice to know that we have this type of capability of sending "real time" information to the command center, assisting in the accurate relaying of information to the crews on the ground. Lets hope that we do not have to use it for anything too serious.

BENDIGO JET BASE

Due to the requirements of one of our clients, we have established a base at Bendigo utilising a Citation IISP that is now available for charter. The aircraft is capable of carrying 8 passengers and fly direct to Sydney or Adelaide doing away with the need to travel to Melbourne and connect with the airlines. This will save your valuable time and have you home for dinner.

TEMORA AIR SHOW 2011

12 September 2011

We will be chartering a McDonnell Douglas DC3 aircraft to the Temora Airs Show, operated by Air Nostalgia, on 19th November 2011. The aircraft will be flying into Temora Airport and will be on static display amongst other vintage aircraft making this possibly a once in a life time opportunity. The aircraft will be departing Essendon Airport on the Saturday morning and returning late in the day after the show. The price for the flight and entry into the show is $625.

HORSHAM AERO CLUB 50TH ANNIVERSARY

The aero club is celebrating it's 50th anniversary on the weekend of 22nd & 23rd October 2011 and to help support the event, Air Nostalgia will be chartering a McDonnell Douglas DC3 from Essendon Airport. The weekend is planned to be filled with both static and aerial displays with joy flights operating throughout the weekend. There will be a dinner function held in one of the hangers on the Saturday night to help mark the occasion and all are welcome to take part and share in this historic event. Tickets for the return flight are $450 per person and the three course dinner $30 per person. Please contact the office to reserve your seat.

AVALON AIRSHOW 2011

We will be chartering a McDonnell Douglas DC3 aircraft to Avalon Airshow, operated by Air Nostalgia, on the open to public days being the 4th, 5th & 6th of March. The aircraft will be flying into the main air strip of Avalon Airport and taking part of the static aircraft display amongst other vintage aircraft making this possibly a once in a life time opportunity. Crabtree & Ausjet Bonding

After the successful uniting of Crabtree and Ausjet Maintenance, we see the final milestone being meet, with the opening of the facility after completion of a major refurbishment and Dave cleaning out the last 30 years of hoarding. The future looks promising for customers and staff alike with the infrastructure, knowledge and experience that now lives under the same roof.

The joint venture with Careflight NSW has successful got under way with flights being conducted from Darwin, Gove and Katherine with patients being transferred to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.

Four KingAir B200’s have arrived in Melbourne after departing Norway and crossing half way around the world in six days. The aircraft will now go into maintenance for their certification onto the Australian register before leaving for the NT.

Andrew Lamb & Paul Sawyer return from the northern hemisphere after conducting the prepurchase of 4 Beechcraft KingAir B200’s fitted with dual ambulance stretcher systems. The aircraft will depart shortly for Melbourne.
