Captain Andrew Lamb – Director /Check and Training Pilot – Melbourne

Responsible for crew rostering, training and safety standards associated with Australasian Jet charter flights. He has maintained this role for the past 18 years and been employed by the company for nearly 20 years. Andrew has extensive knowledge in the corporate general aviation industry and has previously crewed many flights in piston, turbo-prop and jet aircraft both domestically and internationally. He has over 9,000 hours total time.

Neil Sonnerson – Chief Engineer

Maintains responsibility for the Australasian Jet Aircraft Engineering Division, including scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance. He has been the Chief Engineer for three years and been employed by the company for 12 years. Neil has extensive license coverage across a range of aircraft types and is responsible for the co-ordination of all personnel involved in Engineering including Licensed Engineers, Technical Planners, Purchasing and Stores.

Paul Sawyer – Group General Manager

Responsibility for the overall performance of the organisation including the monitoring of the key departmental functions to ensure client expectations and performance levels are met. He has held this position for nearly five years and has successfully renewed all contracts that have expired during this period. The last four years has provided the opportunity to gain an understanding of the aircraft charter expectations of an organisation operating in the emergency aviation response sector. Paul has nearly 20 years Aviation experience and 15 years in aviation management. He has been with Australasian Jet for 7 years. The confidence demonstrated by clients in renewing contracts and increasing flight frequency and utilisation is testament to the performance of the organisation.

Neil Hess – Chief Pilot/ Check Pilot

Neil has been brought onboard the Australasian Jet Team to raise the standard of the companies operations to world’s best practice. Neil has an extensive airline Check and Training background which spans some 30 years. He has over 16,000 hours and is regarded as one of the elite Training and Checking Captains in the current aviation industry. In the short time that Neil has been with Australasian Jet, the company has embraced the swift implementation of new benchmark systems.
