In 1988, three of our company's present directors established an aircraft charter company in response to market demands to operate Lear jets for private clients.

This led to the subsequent founding of Australasian Jet Pty Ltd in 1991 to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding industry. Since that time, Australasian Jet has developed into a recognised market leader, with a reputation for standards of excellence in safety, service, crew, and aircraft maintenance.

Today, Australasian Jet provides a wide range of aviation and aircraft management services. Our operation incorporates over 50,000 square feet of company owned premises, complete with offices, hangars, engineering facilities and a private lounge.

Our associated freight company Independent Air Freighters Pty Ltd operates designated heavy freight aircraft on dedicated freight services throughout Australia.

Our Business
Australasian Jet Pty Ltd operates a fleet of twin engine business jets, turbo-props and piston aircraft. Both twin and single engine helicopters are also available for charter.

These aircraft are chartered to government, corporate, and individual clients for flights within Australia as well as overseas. On-going specialised contractual work is also undertaken on behalf of both State and Federal Governments, and private companies.

Based at Essendon airport, and with offices and affiliations throughout the country, Australasian Jet is a highly respected charter company. The company's high aviation standards have been rewarded through the successful acquisition of numerous Australian Government aviation and ground handling contracts.
